Zhodnocení mléčné užitkovosti kozy bílé krátkosrsté ve vybraném chovu
ČECHOVÁ, Pavla
Goats in the Czech Republic are currently bred for the production of milk and meat. Goat milk is a valuable food and therefore there is a growing interest in it. The aim of this work was to evaluate the milk yield in the White Shorthair Goat breed in the chosen breeding station. This work was focused on milk yield, the amount of fat, protein and lactose in goat milk. The data obtained from the milk yield control were compared with national averages and with the literature. The average milk yield on the selected farm was higher in comparison with the national average values of milk yield for the White Shorthair Goat. Furthermore, obvious differences in fat and protein content were found, while no differences were found in lactose content. Data from the milk yield control from 2016 - 2018 were used for evaluation. All obtained data were processeed in Microsoft Excel
Vlivy působící na mléčnou užitkovost koz
LEDREROVÁ, Jindřiška
The purpose of this work was to evaluate the milking effectivness of goats from a selected breeding. The evaluation was executed in family farm Výrov, that is focusing on breeding the Czech Shorthair breed. The The evaluation took place from 2014 to 2016. It analyses chosen influences that affect effectivness with focus on age of the animal, size, milking amounts and fat and protein concentrations in milk. Analysed data were taken from breeding records and compared to the data from Czech farms. MIlking effectivness was 909 kg in 201, in 2015 it was 1015 kg and in 2016 it rose to 1130 kg of milk per lactation. Mean fat percentage dropped from 5,42 % in 2014 to 5,06 % in 2016. Mean protein percentage dropped from 2,75% in 2014 to 2,71% in 2016. The protein percentage rises at the end of lactation cycle in August, September and October. The breed maintains a very high fertility rate at 238,1 % in the long term.
Chov burských koz v ČR
BUNKOVÁ, Olga
The boer goat breed comes from South Africa Republic where it was developer from the local breeds and a few European goat breeds. In the Czech republic it is the only breed which is bred for the meat. Boer goats excell at calm temper, teachebility, fast growth, good meat production and high fertility. Unlike other goat breeds, they are well adaptable to different climate condition. Therefore it is possible to breed them almost all over the world. Since 2002 when boer goats were placed to Performance testing in the Czech republic, their numbers have increased every year. Interest in breeding boer goat in the Czech republic grows as well as the demand for goat meat which is interesting for its dietetic quality. This bachelor work concentrated on creating the literary summary dealing with the level of boer goat breeding in the Czech republic. Part of this work was monitoring and evaluation of level of the selected herds from two breeding companies. Obtained information about growth development and reproductive pointers was compared with the statements of Performance testing in the Czech republic in past years. At the end of this work all the obtained information about selected breedings is evaluated. Based on these results some steps were proposed which lead to improvement of existing boer goat breeding in the Czech republic.
Comparison of the reproduction of the goats on the ecological and the conventional farm
PRAVDOVÁ, Lenka
The aim of my diploma thesis is comparison and evaluation of reproduction of goats on an eco-farm and on a conventional farm. Measures of reproduction of observed herds were assessed in the years of 2009 and 2010 on an eco-farm Hana Langová and on a conventional farm Bára Schneedorferová. On an eco-farm, a herd of 20 does was observed. Crossbreeds of White shorthaired goat, Brown shorthair goat, Boer goat and Anglo-Nubian goat; all bred with a White shorthaired buck and a Boer buck. On a conventional farm, a herd of 24 White shorthaired does and two crossbred does of White and Brown shorthaired goat was observed in 2009. In 2010, only 18 does were observed. In both years the does were bred with two Brown shorthair bucks. The measured results were compared with milk efficiency results between the two years and also between the farms. In both years, higher fertility was discovered on an eco-farm. On a conventional farm, very low fertility was observed in 2009 (116 %). On the other hand, fertilization was higher than on an eco-farm in both years. Very big difference was also observed in the ratio of male kids, which was in both years higher on a conventional farm, where all the bred animals (apart from one) are hornless. Reproduction is to a high extent influenced by external environmental factors and to a very small extent by genetics. A whole range of possible effects was omitted from the observations, however, the main ones were noted. Of all the observed measures of reproduction, the only one which could be substantially influenced by the breeding method is fertility.
ANALYSES OF VITAL SIGNS IN A HERB OF GOATS
LANGOVÁ, Tereza
The observations were focused on basic behavioural categories as well as on maternity behaviour. Parameters of milk efficiency of goats were monitored as well as indexes of growth of goatlings till up to 30 days of age (58 goatlings).
The goat breeding on the organic farm
JIRMANNOVÁ, Kristýna
The management of goat breeding, animal welfare and the influence of goat breeding on landscape are the main aims of my bachelor thesis. The other aims are as follows: basic information about parameters of goat production, processing and market of bio-products, economy of goat breeding and subsidies in goat breeding. The goat breeding was monitoring at the Slunečná organic farm in the Šumava Mountains. The results were interpreted on the basis of the study of special literature and legislation about organic farming and ethology of goats. The data set of goat herd daily regime on farm was created. Winter daily regime and summer daily regime were compared. The conditions of goat breeding were then compared with requirements of legal rules in the Czech Republic and in the EU. The physiological and ethological needs of animals are satisfactory. It is due to modern technologies for stabling, milking, slaughtering and another handling with animals. Goats have the possibility to graze freely on pastures and they effect positively on the landscape management. They keep grasslands without woody plants and weeds.
